Fund Raising Efforts
August 1, 2009:
Our first step in fund raising was to apply for
a grant through the Stewards of the Trails
Program, STEP. We applied for a grant to
purchase two web-coated, metal picnic tables to
be placed out on the trail for trail riders.
UPDATE September
14, 2009:
The Friends Group received a $1500 grant to
purchase two picnic tables and install two
hitching posts!
The Friends will
work with the City of Edmond to apply for
upcoming recreational trails grants for 2010.
