Help us return this area back to its natural habitat and help us turn this into the premier equestrian trails in the metro area.

Recent Developments 2010:

October 2010 - Friends of Arcadia Lake Equestrian Trails receives $500 grant from AQHA and Tractor Supply Company to purchase new trail signage for the trails system.

August 2010 - volunteers cleaned up more than 50 of trash. Other groups continue to volunteer. THANK YOU ALL!!!!

July 2010 - the trails are open. Thank you to the Arcadia Parks staff for all of the hard work to get the trail cleared. Volunteers will work to continue clearing the trash. A workday has been scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 7th as part of the annual Arcadia sweep clean up day, 9 a.m.-Noon.

June 2010 - the Edmond City Council approved a one-sixth mile trail expansion! Thank you city leaders!

April 2010 - two picnic tables were installed by the Parks Staff. Two hitching posts will also be installed thanks to the STEP grant.

We have been in discussion with the City concerning moving the parking area to a larger space to accommodate more and larger rigs. The City has suggested the 33rd street entrance that will eventually become the new entrance to the lake and the Carl Reherman Park. The Friends will keep you in the loop for future developments.
